That prospect rating can be determined from some interaction with the bank on the project request, a good banking relationship, but mostly it boils down to a gut-feel. A guess. Describe the idea
ProFISee was designed to provide a data-driven, consistent and accurate API to help forecast the revenue for Professional Services Projects. ProFISee uses an API first design to ensure it can be leveraged using the latest FIS tools such as Code Connect. A number of algorithms were tested and implemented including [K-Nearest Neighbors Algorithm (KNN and Conditional Decision Trees. These supervised learning algorithms are able to successfully classify data from all types of industries! We utilized them to classify RPS Ratings to address an immediate need within FIS, but they are only limited by your imagination. ## Why PROFISEE is So, So, cool... For many years, we've just assumed that you had to have inside or specialized knowledge to accurately predict the probability that a project would be accepted and turned into revenue. Or just guess! What if we're wrong? What if we could remove the expert knowledge requirement, the emotion and the inherent human biases and create a data driven consistent predictor of revenue forecast. ProFISee takes advantage of the vast RPS database that we have painstakingly accumulated over many years and now *puts the data together* with modern ML and AI techniques.
